Road, criteriums, time trials
I have been racing and training since high school and eventually worked my way up the professional ranks to a UCI Continental road team racing in Europe. Watching Lance Armstrong win his fifth Tour de France inspired me to get on a bike, and what started with a Walmart mountain bike on a three-mile loop around my neighborhood turned into a passion and love for the sport. Over the years that passion has been shared with people through my Youtube channel. Anything in the road discipline is what I truly understand and have a passion for, including road races, criteriums, and time trials. I also love coaching the weekend warrior or that person who just wants to have fun and enjoy ripping the local group ride.
I strive to always improve and get better at our sport, not just from a data analytics aspect utilizing WKO5, but also in racecraft and nutrition. I see great cycling as three pillars: training, nutrition, and rest. All three have been very important to my professional racing career, and I want to teach them to my athletes, as well.
