WHAT WE WORK ON
FOUR LEVERS. ONE FIT.
A good fit unlocks power, kills the small pains that limit long rides, and makes the bike feel like an extension of the rider. Our process puts the body first.
01 · MOVEMENT ANALYSIS
START WITH THE BODY, NOT THE BIKE.
Every fit begins with a movement analysis to surface biomechanical limitations, asymmetries, and mobility constraints. Your position is built around your body, not a stock fit profile.
-
Mobility and asymmetry screen
-
Identify biomechanical limitations
-
Inform position before parts
-
Carries over to strength and training
02 · LIVE RIDE OBSERVATION
WATCH YOU RIDE. AT INTENSITY.
A 60- to 90-minute session where your fitter observes you riding at a range of intensities, not just a static photo. Real pedal stroke, real posture, real feedback on form and technique.
-
Side, front, and back camera views
-
Variable-intensity observation
-
Form and technique coaching
-
Detailed notes in real time
03 · POSITION & COMPONENTS
SADDLE, STEM, BARS, CLEATS DIALED.
Recommendations for saddle position, stem length, bar reach and drop, cleat alignment, crank length, and more. Adjustments made live where possible, with a written summary report within 48 hours.
-
Saddle height, fore/aft, tilt
-
Reach, drop, and bar choice
-
Cleat alignment and pedals
-
Crank length and component fit
04 · FOLLOW-UP & REFINEMENT
A FIT IS A PROCESS, NOT A SNAPSHOT.
A 30-minute follow-up session is scheduled 2–4 weeks out after you have had time to ride the new position and make component changes. Refine what works. Adjust what does not.
-
2- to 4-week follow-up session included
-
Real-world feedback baked in
-
Refinement, not just a one-off
-
Repeatable across seasons and bikes

FROM THE COCKPIT
IN THEIR OWN WORDS.
“Lorri was awesome. Made me relaxed and comfortable. She really took her time assessing my range of motion and flexibility, checking out cleat placement. I'm happy with my new position which feels very close to my old position, but has it lowered my front end reducing my cDA which is fantastic. ”
— GREG
“Brian was great. He spent a lot of time with me and helped me understand the why and the how behind the process. I have had bike fittings before and they always ask, "How does that feel?" and the truth is that I don't know enough to gauge good or bad. Brian walked me through different fits and showed me what happens with my posture and my elbows and my ankles. I've been happy with the changes and it seems like it has made a difference in my power stroke. Looking forward to the same process with my outdoor bike once the weather improves. He's great. Highly recommend. ”
— MARY
“Brian was extremely knowledgeable and a delight to work with. My mechanical skills are not so great but he was super patient with me as I tried to move my cleats on my shoes. We made a fairly significant change to my seat position and it feels really good. He also suggested that I get shorter cranks so I talked to my local bike fitter and he completely agrees. I am excited to see if I can increase my power after the seat adjustment and the new cranks. All thanks to Brian!”
— SHIRLEY
“An awesome experience. I felt heard and Lorri really cared. She helped identify issues that MyVeloFit was close on, but needed some additional work. I would recommend this service to anyone. Well worth it.”

This package of one-on-one professional analysis and advice from BaseCamp bike fitters Brian Hammond and Lorri Lown is designed to give you more power, more comfort, and more fun on your bike. After you purchase, we'll email you instructions to get started.

Lorri Lown
The price for our bike fits is normally $250, but all BaseCamp athletes get a 20% discount (no coupon needed). Plus if you have two bikes, buy both fits at the same time for an automatic $50 discount on the second one!
Please note: This is a one-time purchase, not an ongoing coaching/fitting program, though you are welcome to purchase as many fits as you would like!
What to expect
Once you purchase, we will email you a link to our bike fit intake form that will give us important information on your athletic history, cycling experience, and primary fit concerns, as well as necessary data about your bike to make our sessions as efficient as possible. Once you complete the form, you'll receive a link to schedule your initial bike fit session.
In our first session, we will conduct a movement analysis to determine possible biomechanical limitations and asymmetries, then observe you riding your bike at a variety of intensities. We may make recommendations for a change in position, such as changes in components (stem, handlebar, seatpost, saddle, shoes, pedals, cranks, etc), and we may also give you feedback on your form and technique. This session will likely take up to 60-90 minutes.
We will schedule a 30-minute follow-up session within 2-4 weeks of your initial session to address any changes that were made after your first session and any concerns you may still have with your fit.
Here's how the bike fit process works:
-
Purchase your virtual fit by clicking "Start Now" above.
-
We'll email you a link to fill our our fit intake form; this is also where you will choose your fitter.
-
Once your form is received, we will send you a link to schedule your initial fit session.
-
When it's time for the session, set up your bike on the trainer and camera with the instructions below (any trainer is fine.)
-
Your fit coach will meet with you for about 60-90 minutes.
-
After the session, your fit coach will email you a summary report within 24-48 hours.
-
Your fitter will schedule a follow-up session with you two to four weeks after the first session, once you've had time to ride in your new position and make any component changes.
Feel free to use any road, triathlon, gravel, mountain, or connected bike, such as a Zwift Ride, Kickr, Stages, etc.
How to prepare for the session
When it's time for your appointment, set up your phone or device on a desk, chair, tripod, or other surface at approximately the height of your bike's saddle. The ideal distance between the camera and your bike is 2.5 meters (approximately 9 feet); this distance is measured from the side (profile) of the bike. It's also useful to have a front
or back view, if possible.
Please have the appropriate tools available to adjust your cleats, saddle, seatpost, and stem if necessary. These are typically allen (hex) or torx (star) wrenches but may vary depending on your shoes and/or bike. You will also need a torque wrench available to ensure that you tighten all bolts to the correct specification after we make adjustments.
We recommend taking a few minutes prior to your appointment to make sure you can loosen and tighten all bolts. This will help prevent a disruption in the fit process if something cannot be loosened.
